The “Damasco” white wine is a non-vintage blend of multiple estate fruit, including Muscat, Ortega, Auxerrois, Madeleine Sylvaner, and juice from previous vintages!
This is an easy-drinking, aromatic, slightly off-dry everyday wine and a crowd-pleaser. You could bring this wine to any Asian restaurant with confidence, and you can’t go wrong summer sipping at only 12.5% alcohol.
NV still wines are not that common, but Jim Moody is going for long-term consistency and achieves that by holding back some of the current blend each year.
