What’s the ONE THING most unique, authentic, & memorable about your brand?
What makes Mom Juice unforgettable is that we’re rewriting the rules of what a wine brand can be—and we started from absolutely nothing. No vineyards passed down for generations. No family name etched into hillside estates. No trust funds, no Napa address. Just two women, a tiny bit of cash, and a big vision: to create a wine brand that speaks directly to modern women, with humor, honesty, and zero pretense.
We launched Mom Juice in a space where most players are multi-generational, legacy-backed, and traditionally male-led. That made the hill even steeper—but also made the mission clearer. We didn’t see ourselves represented in the wine aisle. Everything felt either hyper-serious or outdated. So we created a brand that feels like your funniest, most real mom friend—someone who can laugh at the chaos, celebrate the small wins, and still appreciate a damn good glass of wine.
We built this brand from scratch, while raising families, working other jobs, and figuring it out one step at a time. We bootstrapped everything—from branding and sourcing to social media and customer events—and in just over a year, we’ve created a cult following of women who finally feel seen in this space.
What makes Mom Juice unique isn’t just that we’re underdogs. It’s that we are deeply of our community. We host real-life events where moms show up alone and leave with friends. We talk about the mental load and the magic of motherhood in the same breath. We don’t just sell wine—we create a moment for women to feel less alone.
That’s our superpower: We’re not legacy. We’re not luxury. We’re not traditional. We’re real. And that resonates.
Describe how and what you’d do with your winemaking career or winery business if you were not constrained.
If there were no limits—no financial ceilings, no logistical walls—we would take Mom Juice nationwide in a heartbeat. We’d say “yes” to every single opportunity at the table to grow our brand and bring it to women in every state who are craving a wine that reflects their values: transparency, humor, sisterhood, and a healthier relationship with what they’re putting into their bodies.
At scale, we’d double down on becoming the trusted name in ingredient transparency. We believe women deserve to know exactly what’s in their wine—no additives, no junk, no secrets. Clean-label, honest wine should be the norm, not the niche. We’d use our platform to push the entire industry forward on this front, setting new standards and educating consumers in a way that’s empowering, not intimidating.
And beyond the bottle, our dream is to launch a charitable arm of Mom Juice—a foundation that provides grants and mentorship opportunities for women pursuing their own entrepreneurial dreams. We know firsthand how hard it is to start something from scratch, especially while balancing motherhood and financial pressure. If we could remove some of those roadblocks for the next generation of founders, that would be the real win.
Ultimately, we’re not just building a wine brand. We’re building a movement. One that gives women permission to show up as they are, celebrates their ambition, and raises a glass to doing things differently.
What is the One Wine most emblematic of your brand and/or winemaking style? Tell us its story.
Without a doubt, our Mom Juice Rosé is the wine that best embodies who we are as a brand. It’s been our hero SKU since the beginning—and for good reason. This wine doesn’t just pour beautifully—it brings people together. It’s the ultimate icebreaker. The kind of bottle that feels just as right at a book club as it does at a solo self-care night in.
What makes our Rosé so special is how intentionally it was created. Our community kept asking for a sweeter wine, but as a brand rooted in low-sugar, clean-label values, we had to find a better way to meet them where they were—without compromising on quality or health-conscious standards. So we crafted a fruit-forward Rosé that plays a little trick on the palate: it tastes like it might be sweet, but it’s actually super balanced, crisp, and dry. That flavor profile creates a perfect entry point for women who are newer to wine—and still wins over die-hard Rosé lovers with its elegance and finish.
In many ways, this bottle tells the full Mom Juice story: it’s approachable, inclusive, and deceptively thoughtful. It proves that good wine doesn’t need to be intimidating or overly serious—it can be joyful, stylish, and still made with real care. Read my review of Mom Juice here.
Bonus Question: What’s the one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
People are always surprised to hear that the two of us—met over a blind business lunch with no real reason to work together. No wine idea. No formal agenda. Just two women in completely different industries, showing up because a mutual connection thought we might “vibe.” And somehow, we did.
That lunch could’ve ended with a polite handshake and nothing more. But instead, it sparked an unexpected connection rooted in shared values, creativity, and an overwhelming sense that there was something more we were meant to build.
We had no background in wine. No playbook. No family ties to the industry. But we had instincts, grit, and a deep understanding of the modern woman—especially moms—who were craving a brand that actually spoke to them. That lunch turned into a brand, a movement, and a partnership that’s changed both of our lives.
So yes, our wine is clean, our branding is fun, and our events are unforgettable—but behind it all is a totally unexpected friendship that started with no expectations at all.
