It’s not easy to make a decent non alcoholic wine. This NV sparkler from Maschio does an admirable job. The wine is pale yellow in color with a very fruit-forward, honeyed nose, which follows through on the palate, showing nice fruit-acid balance.
I sampled some DRY non alcoholic friends who responded favorably and likened it to sparkling grape juice. I neglected to mention that the bubbles contained up to point 5% alcohol, a negligible amount; I’d recommend this white sparkler at parties for your teetotaling friends.
