Archer Roose Wines Chardonnay

Winemaker Delphine Gaillard crafted this impressive 100% Chardonnay from the Côtes de Gascogne region. I love the 250 milliliter format, enough for a respectable glass pour. And at only 12% alcohol, why not enjoy two cans? 🙂

The wine is un-oaked with characteristic Chardonnay hallmarks, including citrus, tree fruit and tropical notes. It’s fresh, slightly off-dry, with bright acidity and a medium finish. What’s not to love? And you can toss a few cans in your cooler or chilly bin, and do whatever you do.

I listened to a wine podcast recently and was impressed with actor Elizabeth Banks and partner Marian Leitner-Waldman’s comments and brand positioning and their thoughts and strategies on making wine more approachable. I hope the industry gets a clue and follows suit.

Stay tuned; this Winemaker interview may be coming soon.
