2024 Living Roots “Bone Dry” Riesling

Lemony and smooth with notable acidity, this is a standout Finger Lakes Riesling, yet more full-bodied than many I’ve tasted lately. I imagine this wine would pair with a wide range of dishes from oysters, crab, and any shellfish, to full-bodied creamy cheeses.

Wild ferment, unfined, bone dry and aged on the leaves, says the text sheet. And it is. I highly recommend this wine if you like Riesling. Who doesn’t?

I’m rating the wine exceptional+. The plus is for its intensity, length, and relatively low alcohol at only 12.8%.
