2024 Foris Vineyards Pinot Noir

This old-vine Pinot Noir is from Foris Vineyards, one of the pioneers of the Rogue Valley, which was established in 1976. The estate vineyard is located at about 1,500 feet and is inspired by the high-elevation vineyards of the Alsace region in France.

This wine is still a youngster, still developing but with potential. It opens fresh and savory, and finishes medium-long on the palate. The wine is well-balanced with medium acidity and soft tannins. This is a very good wine that deserves time in the cellar to develop fully, although it’s drinking well now, and will complement mushroom and light savory dishes beautifully.
