Crisp and light with citrus aromas. The wine finished with herbal grassy notes on the palate. I love cool-climate Chardonnays, such as those from the Willamette Valley and Finger Lakes. One of the benefits of course is low alcohol, this one clocking in at only 12.7%. This is another sandstone fermented and aged wine from Six Eighty Cellars.
This is a very good wine, characterized by bright acidity. I recommend pairing it with oysters in the winter and grilled shrimp in the summer months.
